We helped build computing systems as they are today.
Now we’re making the hardware of tomorrow.

A team that works in theory and in practice

Vaire’s leadership team combines novel compute research with decades of experience pioneering semiconductor design across industry giants.  On the other side, we’ve led startups utilising the most cutting edge hardware in AI and defence tech. Our deep expertise in traditional computing architectures and their most demanding applications is what led us to work on reversible computing — we know a new approach is needed to take compute performance to the next level.

Computing without compromise

Why we exist

Progress in compute performance risks being compromised by limited energy infrastructure and the end of Moore’s law. Vaire offers a way out of these binds.

We‘re here to lead a machine intelligence revolution, with anti-establishment, futuristic hardware that decouples energy consumption from growth in computing power.

We believe in the “adventure of science”. We see magic in achieving what others believe impossible – after all, everything is theoretical until you do it. We understand the vision, effort and resilience scientific breakthroughs require. We agree with Richard Feynman that at first glance, outlier ideas can seem 'absurd and useless'. We are all aligned around the deep belief that all computation will be reversible in 15 years. Want to join us?
